Smart Unifolio respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and how you can contact us about it.

The website is operated by Smart Software Services (I) Pvt. Ltd. It provides corporate apparel, uniforms and branded merchandise, with customisation, embroidery and bulk order services.

This policy applies to the website and to the information you provide to us through it. It does not cover third-party websites that we link to, which have their own policies.

When you create an account, we collect the information you provide in the registration form:

• Your name — used to identify and address you and to prepare orders, quotations and correspondence.
• Your email address — used as your login identifier and to send you order updates, quotations, password reset links and account notifications.
• Your phone number (optional) — used to contact you about your requirement, order or quotation where needed.
• Your password — required to create your account. It is stored only in a protected, hashed form and is never stored or transmitted in readable form, and our staff cannot view it.

If you update your profile, we also hold the details you choose to add, such as a profile photo and address information used for delivery. We record the date of your last sign-in for account security purposes.

Where you have subscribed to updates, we record your communication preference, such as your newsletter setting, so that we honour your choice.

When you browse products, add items to your cart, place an order, or submit a quote or request-for-quotation, we collect the information needed to prepare and deliver your requirement:

• Product selections — the garments, colours, sizes, fabrics, quantities and package options you choose, and the customisation options you select.
• Customisation requirements — the logos, artwork, embroidery or branding placements, sizes and any specific instructions you provide, and the files you upload for those purposes.
• Delivery information — the delivery address, contact number and any delivery instructions you give us.
• Company and business information — where you submit it in a quote, custom design, embroidery or logo request, this may include your company or business name, contact person, industry, business website, and city, state and country.
• Tax and business information — a GST number, where you provide one, so that the correct tax treatment can be applied to your quotation.
• Order and payment records — the order details, the payment method you select, the transaction reference you provide, and any payment screenshot you upload to evidence payment.

We also retain your order and quotation history so that we can track your requirement, respond to queries, and issue revised quotations where a request is updated.

When you contact us through the website, we collect the details you choose to give us so that we can respond. Depending on how you reach us, this may include:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• the subject, message and project type you submit in a contact or enquiry form;
• any correspondence, feedback or review you send us about our products or services.

We also generate in-app notifications associated with your account, such as when a quotation is sent, revised, accepted or rejected, or when a reply is provided to your request. These are tied to your account so that you can see updates relating to your own requirement.

To keep the website secure and working correctly, and to protect our accounts and our users, some technical information is processed automatically in the course of a normal visit:

• Session and sign-in information — when you sign in, a secure session token is issued so the website can recognise you on subsequent pages. It is held in your browser's local storage on your own device and is sent back with your requests to authorise them. Signing out clears it.
• Preference and recent activity data — certain features store information in your browser so they work as intended, such as the products you have recently viewed, and your saved items.
• Rate-limiting information — for security, we temporarily process network information such as an IP address when you sign in or submit a request, in order to detect and block repeated automated or abusive attempts. This is used for that security purpose and is not retained as part of your account.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural tracking, or third-party advertising networks on this website.

We use the information we collect to:

• create, authenticate and manage your account, and to keep it secure;
• provide the website, and to display products, pricing and content to you;
• process your quote and request-for-quotation submissions, prepare quotations, and respond to your enquiries;
• process and fulfil your orders, including customisation, embroidery or branding, and arrange delivery;
• record and administer your order, quotation and payment records, and to apply the correct tax treatment;
• communicate with you about your account, orders and quotations, including account, quotation and order notifications;
• provide customer support and respond to your questions, concerns and requests;
• maintain the security and integrity of the website, prevent misuse and fraud, and enforce rate limits and our terms;
• comply with our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations; and
• improve the website and our products and services, for example by understanding how the site is used so that we can fix problems and make it easier to use.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to operate the website, fulfil your requirement, or meet a legal obligation. This may include sharing with:

• Service providers who host and support our systems, including where our website and application are hosted, and providers who support the infrastructure the website runs on.
• Our database provider, which stores the account, order, quotation and enquiry information needed to run the website.
• File and media storage providers, which store the artwork, logos, product images, profile images and documents you upload to us.
• Email and messaging providers, which deliver the transactional emails we send you, such as order and quotation updates and password reset links.
• Delivery, courier and logistics providers, to the extent required to deliver your order and provide tracking.
• Professional advisers, auditors and authorities, where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
• A buyer or successor, in the event of a reorganisation, merger or sale of our business, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Where we share information with a service provider, it is used for the purposes described in this policy and not for their own independent marketing.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse. These include access controls and permissions on our systems, protection of the application against common attacks, and safeguards designed to keep stored credentials secure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately so that we can take steps to secure it.

We retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to:

• provide our services to you and maintain your account for as long as it remains active;
• fulfil and support your orders, quotations and customisation requests, including after delivery, so that we can deal with any subsequent query, repeat order or concern;
• comply with our legal, tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations; and
• resolve disputes, and enforce or defend our agreements and legal rights.

Where information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or otherwise dispose of it in a secure manner. If you close your account, we will manage and delete your information in line with the obligations and legitimate purposes described above.

The website does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or cookies set by third-party analytics or advertising networks.

The website does use your browser's local storage — a standard feature of your browser — for a small number of functional purposes:

• to keep you signed in between pages while you use the website;
• to remember certain site preferences, such as which products you have recently viewed, so the website can work as intended.

These are necessary for the website to function and are not used to build an advertising profile of you. You can clear or block local storage through your browser settings, but doing so may mean you are signed out and some preferences are not remembered.

You have choices about the information you provide and how we use it:

• You choose what to provide. Some fields are optional — for example, your phone number when registering. Where a field is required, it is because we need it to create your account or fulfil your specific request.

Please note that the website does not currently offer self-service account deletion or data export. If you would like a copy of the information we hold about you, or you would like your account or information to be corrected or removed, please contact us and we will handle your request by email. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.

This website is a business-to-business and commercial service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. If you follow a link to another website, that site's own privacy policy applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the website, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
